Journey to success of a Bay Area artist

As a journalist, I'm always interested in hearing about other people's stories and their background. While thinking about a subject to do this video on, my neighbor, David Edwinson, came to mind. We hadn't really interacted too much before that point, however I did know that he was an artist and was very eager to showcase his work. Wanting to find out more about his story, I was able to meet up at his house and learn more about his story as how he got into the arts and made a living through his passion.

Capo Belmont restaurant builds community within Carlmont

As a student in Carlmont High School, one of my favorite things to do is to go eat at the mediterranean restaurant Capo with friends after school on Fridays. Capo is a big spot to go eat amongst Carlmont students, and as someone who frequently eats there, I thought it would be nice to learn more about how the resturaunt was created, how it operates and the role it played amongst the community of Carlmont students.

Carlmont choir spreads a sense of community with PB and Jams concert

One significant aspect of being at Carlmont for me is being part of the music program.  When I heard about the upcoming spring choir concert I realized that it was the perfect video to showcase the work of students within the Carlmont choir program. In this video I touched on the work that the students put into preparing for the concert, the volunteer work that makes the concert run, and what it's like for the seniors to be performing their last concert.
